Members of the lab of Lola Martin-Bermudo together with members from Pastor-Pareja’s lab from the Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) worked together to dissect Nidogen function in Drosophila. This study reveals that Nidogen has a role in morphogenesis linking the Laminin and Collagen IV networks. The work was recently published on Plos Genetics.
