Fernando Casares is a CSIC Principal Investigator at CABD. Fernando has contributed in various ways to the developmental biology field. Currently he and his team are interested in control of organ growth and identity during development and evolution.
Fernando was elected recently the president of Spanish Society of Developmental Biology (SEBD). SEBD and the current board of directors is doing a great job promoting developmental biology in Spain and abroad!
He is now also the Director of Maria de Maeztu Unit GEM-DMC2. Thanks for your work!
