Isabel Almudi, a post doctoral fellow from Casares lab, is studying how the mayfly Cloeon dipterum can be used as a new model for evo-devo questions. The work published in EvoDevo journal describes how to keep a continuous culture of Cloeon dipterum. This paper includes also other optimized protocols and omics resources to test developmental and regenerative hypothesis using this invertebrate.
